In the photo, I'm holding Sunflower microgreens, nutrient-dense powerhouses that have been described as vibrant, robust, and intensely green. 💚
Sunflower microgreens can take any salad to the next level and I have used them as a complete replacement for lettuce under egg salad and tuna salad. 🥗
Sunflower microgreens:
- are my "sturdiest" (as opposed to "delicate") microgreens;
- have a crunchy, nutty, "earthy" flavor; 😋
- are one of my favorite microgreens crops; and
- contain calcium, iron, magnesium, phosphorus, potassium, and Vitamins A, B complex, D and E. 💪🏻
