There are countless microgreens recipes online and we will share how we have used them personally.
Microgreens may be eaten raw or cooked (by themselves or with other foods).
We have consumed the following foods and/or beverages with the microgreens we have grown:
- Chef salads;
- Taco salads;
- Burritos;
- Spaghetti sauce;
- Smoothies; and
- Steamed as a side vegetable.
Please note that it is always best for customers to wash microgreens before eating them.
Chef Salad
Lettuce mixed with microgreens, topped with tomato, diced lunch meat, shredded cheese, and salad dressing.
Taco Salads
Lettuce mixed with microgreens, topped with tomato, seasoned organic grass-fed beef, cheddar cheese, and sour cream.
Burritos
Like taco salad, except wrapped in a tortilla.
Spaghetti Sauce
Store bought spaghetti sauce enhanced with cooked organic grass-fed beef crumbles, diced onion, mushrooms, microgreens and various spices to taste.
