Through Vicki’s convenient Subscription Program, get her best prices and delivery to homes and businesses within her delivery area within the greater Aiken, SC, area.
Background
Since microgreens are the nutrient dense seedlings of vegetables and herbs, they are delicate and need to be consumed within a matter of days.
Vicki grows her microgreens to order,
- either by her Subscription Program members
- or what she thinks folks will buy at the Aiken County Farmers Market.
Benefits of the NKBJ Microgreens Subscription Program
Vicki rewards her Subscription Program members with the following benefits:
- lower prices than she charges at the farmers market (usually half);
- free delivery to homes and businesses (minimum USD$15 orders required);
- prioritization of orders ahead of non-subscribers’ orders; and
- your choice of microgreens on a consistent basis.

If you become a Subscription Program member and refer someone who becomes a new Subscription Program member, both of you can get some free microgreens!
Furthermore, as a total win-win, Vicki will promote on social media and in our email newsletter those chefs and restaurants who share their photos and descriptions of dishes using her microgreens.
Fulfillment
Depending on the crop, it can take 2-4 weeks to begin regular fulfillment of Subscription Program orders.
Vicki strongly encourages her Subscription Program members to place orders no less than 2 weeks in advance of when her microgreens will be needed.
About Delivery
Two “types” of microgreens can be delivered: harvested and living.
For harvested products, Vicki delivers the same day she harvests, on Wednesdays.
Delivery to homes or businesses is limited to the area in and around Aiken in the delivery area that Vicki serves.
Minimum Order
In order to enjoy free delivery within Vicki’s delivery area, she requires subscription program members to place a minimum USD$15 order on
- either a weekly schedule
- or biweekly (every two weeks) schedule.
Subscription Costs
As this image shows, the cost of a subscription varies based upon the frequency chosen.
Payment
For all Subscription Program payments, Vicki accepts:
- either cash (preferred);
- or credit/debit card payment, with $1 added per transaction to cover the processing fee;
- or a business check.
All Subscription Program members must have a phone/text number that they check regularly.
Delivery Arrangements
Each Business Subscription Program member needs to be available to receive the product in person.
Each Home Subscription Program member needs to:
- either be available to receive the product in person;
- or set up an ice chest near his/her front door, into which Vicki will place
- your microgreens and
- her reusable cold pack (which gets swapped out at each delivery).

If you become a Subscription Program member, Vicki will be growing products for you on a regular basis and therefore she requires a 2-week notice on any change you make to your order.
