Obviously, once microgreens are cut, their growing process is completed.
Cut microgreens are best used as fresh as possible.
Depending on the variety, they can last in a plastic bag for a few days up to a week.
We prefer to preserve freshly cut microgreens by placing them in a vacuum sealed wide mouth canning jar.
For your own peace of mind, it is best to wash cut microgreens before using them.
Please be aware that sunflower microgreens may contain seed hulls that did not fall off during the growing or harvesting processes.
